Each patient would have to be assessed by means of an initial consultation to decide which laser would be suitable for their treatment.
Glycolic Acid Skin Renewal Peels
Chemical peels help to remove a dry, dull build-up of dead skin cells on the face, neck, chest and hands; they help to smooth the texture, even the skin tone and produce a healthy, youthful glow on the skin. Patients often remark after a peel that it is the best facial they could ever have with the added benefits of collagen rejuvenation when using a high percentage peel.
Dr Webster uses the Neostrata® Skin Rejuvenation System (SRS) free-glycolic acid peels which is only available to medical practitioners. These are performed by fully trained staff members after an initial assessment by Dr Webster.
When used together with Neostrata® products, the peels may help to improve fine lines, dark spots, skin clarity and mild to moderate acne. All prospective candidates would need to be assessed by Dr Webster before commencing any treatment. Chemical peels are often done in conjunction with lasers on the face or chest.
Botox® is the most powerful toxin known to man but if given in the correct dosage by an experienced physician it is very safe. Botox®, a natural, purified protein administered in very low doses temporarily relaxes contractions of the muscles that cause wrinkling. These muscles are often found on the forehead especially between the eyebrows which can cause a person to look angry or worried all the time.
Dr Webster prefers to use Botox® on the upper half of the face for dynamic wrinkles and to lift the eyebrows and he does not believe in the overuse of Botox® which can cause a face to look frozen. His patients often comment that no-one can tell why they look so well but they keep receiving compliments! He believes that a natural, refreshed approach, where less is more, is the answer.
