Dr Webster’s Practice Philosophy

He believes in evidence-based medicine

Dr Webster strongly believes in evidence-based Dermatology i.e. that all treatments that he recommends, come with strong scientific evidence.

He loves a challenge

Dr Webster is first and foremost a clinical physician in Dermatology and he loves a challenge. He will spend as much time and energy as it takes to make a difficult diagnosis and to find the best way to treat the condition for the best outcome possible.

He likes to satisfy his patient’s realistic expectations

His patients come from far and wide seeking answers to not only medical conditions but advice on the best treatments or products available to help with skin ageing. He strives to meet his patient’s realistic expectations and give them the best results possible – a happy patient with a good result is the best advert for his expertise and skills.

A desire to never stop learning and experience is what counts

Dr Webster has an insatiable appetite for knowledge and he never stops reading or learning, not just about Dermatology but life skills, business and personal advancement so that he can provide a holistic approach in his relationships with his patients. Before his specialisation in Dermatology, he worked in many different areas of medicine, including as a doctor on the Antarctic supply vessel, the SA Agulhas: the varied experience has given him an added advantage as a diagnostician.
